The Texas Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) is now accepting applications for presenters for the 2019 Texas System of Care (TxSOC) and Community Resource Coordination Group (CRCG) Conference. The conference will be held July 17–19, 2019 at the Hilton Austin Airport Hotel.

The 2019 TxSOC and CRCG Conference is an interagency conference for youth, family members, state leaders, child-serving providers, and community leaders to learn about the parallels and connections between SOCs and CRCGs, participate in networking opportunities, and to share best practices. Conference planning partners include HHSC, the Texas Institute for Excellence in Mental Health (TIEMH) at the University of Texas at Austin, the Texas Family Voice Network, ACCEPT youth leaders, CRCG leaders, and TxSOC communities statewide.

The Conference Planning Committee seeks workshop proposals focusing on the development of SOCs and CRCGs from concept, implementation, and innovation. The focus is on best practices in achieving positive outcomes, coordinating development, and innovative solutions to address local needs. Stronger consideration will be given to proposals that include presenters or co-presenters with lived experience in accessing and receiving services.

Please see our Call for Presenters Info Sheet for additional information.
